Trieste museums will stay open until past midnight on the night of Saturday 14 May as the capital of Friuli Venezia Giulia celebrates the return of Notte dei Musei after a two-year break due to the pandemic.
The 2022 edition of Night of Museums will include 1 euro entrance to Castello di Miramare which will remain open until 1 am. Among other things at the beautiful Miramare Castle, you’ll be able to visit “Madonna delle Rose” by Tiziano, from Uffizi in Florence, which will remain in Trieste for a few more weeks.
The popular initiative will also see some state museums, universities, academies and galleries stay open late with special cultural events. There is a symbolic entry fee of €1 (unless otherwise specified).
