What’s more Trieste than events dedicated to the city’s favorite wind, bora. With this in mind, the organizers of this year’s Boramata event planted hundreds whirligigs in Piazza Unità for everyone to take pictures with.
Organized by Associazione Museo della Bora and Prandicom, with contribution by Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia, AcegasApsAmga and Comune di Trieste, Boramata celebrates its 8th edition this year.
From whirligigs, to kites to “Svevo’s bench” – this year’s Boramata has it all.
“Svevo’s bench” will be placed in Piazza Unità and is a gift to the city for the “100 years of Zeno’s Conscience” celebration.
The last event for Boramata will take place on Monday, 5 June at 5 pm where everyone will be able to purchase the whirligigs with all the proceeds going to Associazione Trieste entra in gioco Aps.
