Summer 2022 in Trieste is anything but quiet with international award winning singers and songwriters performing on Castel San Giusto’s stage this August as part of the Hot in the City Summer Festival.
Mario Biondi, with his unmistakable deep voice is warm and sensual, yet clear and confident will take center stage at Castello di San Giusto 1 August at 9 pm. Born Mario Ranno, he cultivated his passion for music from a young age, listening alongside his father, the singer Stefano Biondi, later making his stage name a tribute to him.
Award winning singer, songwriter and actress Joss Stone will take over Castle San Giusto’s Stage 9 August at 9 pm. Joss Stone’s debut album was released in the U.K and around the world in 2003 entitled The Soul Sessions. Joss Stone’s follow up album Mind Body & Soul was released one year later in 2004. Three years would pass by before Joss Stone would release her third record in 2007 entitled Introducing Joss Stone. In 2009, she released Colour Me Free!, in 2011 LP1, in 2012 The Soul Sessions Vol. 2. Stone has earned several awards including two Brit Awards and one Grammy Award out of five nominations.
