Trieste is about to be fully immersed in Bruce Springsteen’s music for four days straight, thanks to the 11th edition of “Trieste calling the Boss,” organized by the “Trieste is Rock” association.
From today, 28 July to 31 July at Piazz Verdi & Parco San Giovanni (free entrance) and the Castello di San Giusto (paid entry), we will hear three exceptional bands from Trieste, who bring their own version of the great musician’s songs, in blues, rock’n’roll and punk versions.
28 July: 5 pm Piazza Verdi: ANTHONY BASSO
8.30 pm Parco San Giovanni: “Acoustic Woman – Boss Tribute Set”, followed by “Bruce in Blues – Boss Tribute Set”, followed by JAMES MADDOCK TRIO (from Usa)
29 July: 5 pm Piazza Verdi: THE RISING #20 – TRIBUTE SET
8.15 pm Castello di San Giusto: “Opening Act” MIAMI & THE GROOVERS (from Rimini), followed by EDOARDO BENNATO (from Napoli)
30 July: 8.30 pm Castello di San Giusto: IVO TULL TRIO (from Trieste) followed by THE KIDS – The Who tribute band (from Trieste), followed by THE KIDS – The Who tribute band (from Trieste)
