Friuli Venezia Giulia region organizes a trip for tourists and other enthusiasts to San Daniele del Friuli aboard the historical train Arlecchino Etr 252, symbol of the Italian economic well-being of the sixties.
On Sunday 28 August, the ancient convoy built on the occasion of the 1960 Rome Olympics and recently restored by the FS Foundation will depart from Trieste to Gemona and from Udine to Gemona station from where the passengers will reach San Daniele with a shuttle bus included in the ticket price.
The tickets are sold out for the Trieste – Gemona route (departure at 8.30 am with stops in Monfalcone and Gorizia, return at 7.15 pm), few spots are remaining for the trip from Udine (11.10 am and 12.30 pm, with return from Gemona at 3.30 pm and 5.40 pm).
