Trieste Hosts Kaiserfest 2023

Kaiserfest 2023 is back in town starting from Saturday, 28 October with various events to choose from.

This family-friendly showcase of culinarily invention, creativity and celebration of life is part of the annual Kaiserfest initiative organized by Comune di Trieste.

The 2023 event opens on Saturday 28 October at 11 am, until 19.00, and will stay open until 4 November.

Saturday, October 28

10.00 am Guided tour of the Catholic cemetery of S. Anna by Prof. Luca Bellocchi
Meeting at 9.45 am at the entrance to Via dell’Istria

10.30 am From the port to science, the birth of Trieste edited by Zeno Saracino, historian
Meeting point in via di Campo Marzio at the Lidl supermarket.

Sunday 29 October

10.00 am Guided visit to the Sartorio Museum

12.00 Piazza Ponterosso and surrounding streets Costume ball with musical background carried out with the involvement of the Trieste Ottocento APS Association

3.00 pm Trieste and the Habsburg Port Walk among the port warehouses and visit the Maritime Museum edited by Zeno Saracino, historian. Meeting point at the entrance to Warehouse 26.
