Countdown to the new year in style at the beautiful Piazza Unità. Trieste’s dazzling annual celebration is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever. From live music courtesy of Radio Company, to fireworks- it will be a night to remember. Piazza Unità will be closed to pedestrians (you will need to walk by the Roman Theater to get from one side to the other), glass bottles will not be allowed and all the fun will wrap up by 1.30 am.

Start the evening at Harry’s Bar in the heart of it all and cheers to the new year in style. Head chef Matteo Mettullo has crafted a very special evening that’s destined to be a triumph for the senses. At midnight, look up to the skies and admire the fireworks shot from Molo Audace.

Expect dishes such as hand-dived scallop carpaccio with chestnut crumble; seared tuna with citrus sauce, avocado and caviar; and black truffle risotto and homemade ravioli stuffed with white fish. Finish the dinner in good company with a semifreddo panettone dessert. There will always be a glam DJ set for all guests ready to shake off their blues on the dance floor.
