Foggy weather has traveled from 2022 to 2023 in Trieste making most locals wish for the infamous strong wind to be back and sweep away those clouds hanging low over our city.
So much so that a local museum, Museo della Bora (the Bora Wind Museum-ed.) decided to launch a petition on their social networks to bring the bora wind back. Although as a joke, it has already been much acclaimed by locals.
“Bora wind rarely leaves you indifferent,” a Trieste dweller told us. “You either hate it or love it, there’s no in-between.”
While the arrival of bora is not imminent as per ilmeteo.it, the sun is scheduled to be back in Trieste on Friday, which will most likely spur locals to head to Barcola beach for a walk, jog, or even a dip in the sea.
