The 34th edition of Trieste Film Festival was presented this Friday, 13 January during the press conference at the regione.
“Trieste FF has the capacity to be continuously rennovated,” with these words Tiziana Gibelli, Regional Councilor for Culture and Sport, opened the press conference this morning at the region’s headquarters in Piazza Unità.v“Every year there’s something new and the festival is a continuous dialogue between various realities in the city.”
“Trieste Film Festival mirrors the multiculturality of our city and this is something to be proud of,” added the deputy mayor of Trieste, Serena Tonel. “Trieste Film Festival is a great example of continuous dedication and zealousness.”
“As a festival, we have a very precise focus. We were born in Trieste and we represent this city and its territory,” added the director of the Festival, Nicoletta Romeo. “We are very proud of this year’s festival and the so-called gender balance, with hundreds of female artists present.There’re a lot of movies that come directly from Friuli Venezia- Giulia this year as well, for example Andrea Sagre’s “Trieste è bella di notte”, and many more. This will be a magnificent week in Trieste.”
