The exhibition, curated by the local photographer, Francesco Bruni, follows the exciting history of the basketball in Trieste in the past 20 years.
Bruni, originally from Forli, has been living and working in Trieste for the past 30 years. “I was the first photographer in Italy to take pictures of basketball players from above,” Francesco told us. “It was a big deal and my picture landed on the cover of a sports magazine. I’ve been doing what I love ever since.”
