It’s the first summer weekend in Trieste! If you haven’t already planned out your fun in the sun or you find yourself at a loose end, we’ve put together the quick guide of things to do this weekend in Trieste.

Where To Eat

It’s Osmiza Time!

Where do locals head when the sun’s out and Monday is a day off? To an osmiza, naturally.

For many Triestini summer is just another reason to venture out to one of the beautiful osmize open in Carso. Great views, food and drinks make for a perfect afternoon with friends. For open osmize, please visit www.osmize.com.

Un Rebechin, grazie!

Feel like having a typical snack but staying downtown? Snack like a local at one of the beautiful Trieste’s buffets. You can never go wrong with one (or two-three?) rebechin a day.

You Beautiful You

Feeling romantic? How about a drink by the water? For evening rendezvous, get a spirtz bianco in one of the beautiful places by the sea.

Due gusti, grazie!

Two scoops of gelato are a must with the weather this perfect. Here are some suggestions.

Where To Be

Got tan?

Many locals will head to Trieste’s beaches to work on their spring tans and have a picnic by the sea. Here’s our guide to Trieste’s beaches to visit this season.

Let’s Get Movin’!

Bike path Cottur

Hikes on Napoleonica Trail and Carso, as well as Bike Path Cottur are also in store for many Triestini this Labor Day weekend for a digestive walk after a rebechin or osmiza.
