Mare Nordest is back in Trieste from 26 to 28 May with myriads of initiatives to choose from.
The twelfth edition of the event, presented today (Wednesday 17 May) in the Sala Giunta of the Municipality of Trieste, will include the award ceremony of the Golden Trident 2023 by the International Academy of Underwater Sciences and Techniques and the Second International Review of Underwater Activities.
A double tensile structure will be set up in Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia which will host seminars, workshops and activities organized by the institutional scientific partners of the event (University of Trieste, National Institute of Oceanography and Geophysics – OGS , National Museum of Antarctica – MNA), Antares Astronomical Studies Center and VisitMalta and thanks to the social innovation paths promoted by the Pietro Pittini Foundation.
There are two testimonials for this edition: Sergio Davì, rubber boat author of long-distance crossings who is part of the television program “Lineablu”, and Matteo Parenzan, 2022 Table Tennis World Champion in his category and Italian standard-bearer at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Three days full of activities from culture, sport, to Fashion Art and the environment which reconfirms Trieste’s event “Mare Nordest” as a point of reference for sea activities in the entire Upper Adriatic area.
