GeoAdriatico, the international symposium that turns the spotlight on the present with a look at the future of the planet, will take place in Trieste 8-11 June, putting the city back in the international spotlight once again.
International cooperation, climate change, Blue economy are some of the themes of GeoAdriatico (www.geoadriatico.it), the international symposium scheduled from 6 to 11 June 2023 in Trieste.
Roberto Vitale, the president of the GeoAdriatico, told us that “Trieste is a city with international vocation, where multiculturalism and cultural integration are at the forefront.”
“As the University, we are happy to support such an important for the city initiative,” added rector Roberto Di Lenarda.
Partner of the international symposium, which is by vocation a container without flags in which to decline current issues and turn the spotlight on the present with a look at the future of the Planet, are the University of Trieste (UniTS), the general direction of Cooperation and Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), the International Higher School of Advanced Studies (SISSA), the Area Science Park, the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS), Fincantieri, the United World College of the Adriatic (UWC), the Port System Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea, the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB ), the MIB Trieste School of Management, the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce, The World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS) , Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, the Central European Initiative (CEI), Trieste Airport, the Consular Corps of Trieste, the Maritime Directorate of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Port Authority of Trieste.
