One year after the devastating fires in the Carso area, on 21 July the Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of FAI – Italian Environmental Fund for Friuli Venezia Giulia presented a video signed by Paolo Valerio commemorating the heartbreaking events of July 2022.

“Nature I thank thee. My Karst is hard and good”, this title evokes a famous Triestine writer Slataper, with the video filmed in the places devastated by fire, where the signs of rebirth are now visible.

This video, masterfully crafted and presented, is a hymn to beauty that raises awareness of the sustainability issues around us.

The video was presented on Friday morning at the headquarters of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in the presence of Councilors Stefano Zannier and Riccardo Riccardi.
