A new art exhibition in the Piazza Piccola 2, in Trieste. The protagonist is the Ethiopian artist Shashe Capra. The opening will be held on Saturday 9 August at 10 am, and the exhibition will remain open until 27 August.
Capra considers herself to be an unknown artist. She started working on her art just after the graduation from Communication Sciences. Since then Capra’s name has been seen in many exhibitions in the United States, Switzerland, Toscana, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and others.
The exhibition is called “La_Shashe” and it can be visited without a previous appointment. The regular schedule is working from 10 am to 13 h, and from 17 h to 20 h.
The young artist prefers to avoid giving a specific meaning to her work. She rather allows the public to explore the painting and give their own explanations.
Her solo exhibition involves nature elements in an original style. Some of the elements include bark, leaves, flowers, and seeds that she gathered during long walks.
The visits in the Veruda Room of the Piazza Piccola 2 in Trieste are free and open until 27 August.
