After days of unbearable heat, strong storms are in the forecast starting from midnight, 28 August.
Starting from midnight on Monday, a drastic climate change is expected that will bring heavy rains, strong winds, as well as the possibility of medium-sized hail.
Temperatures are expected to drop at least 15 degrees.
A Regional Alert 16 of 2023 was issued by the Civil Protection of Friuli Venezia Giulia which comes into force from 00:00 on 28 August and will remain active until 24:00 of the same day.
The criticality is classified as “yellow”, which indicates an intermediate alarm level that should not be underestimated.
