The Verdi theater of Trieste will pay homage to Ezio Bosso this Wednesday, 13 September, at 5 pm with a discussion followed by a concert dedicated to the great master.

The project on Bosso, created in collaboration with the Maestro’s family in view of the publication of the new recordings for Sony Music, includes both some compositions for solo piano and a piano version of the first Symphony, the most monumental of Libetta’s transcriptions from Bosso’s works for orchestra and trios and saw the active participation of friends and professionals who were fundamental in Ezio’s artistic vision such as the historic sound engineer and producer Michael Seberich and his trusted tuner Giulio Passadori for Steinway.

But since Bosso was a man of music but also a man of his words about music, the day of September 13th will be crowned at the Ridotto Victor de Sabata from 5.00 pm by meetings with some of the writers who have worked most on the intertwining of literature and music in their career both in the form of non-fiction dissemination, like Alberto Mattioli and Luca Ciammarughi, and using music as an active protagonist of the narrative mechanism of their novels, like Giuseppina Manin and Stefano Jacini.

The day dedicated to Bosso will open in the afternoon in the Sala del Ridotto Victor De Sabata from 5.00 pm with the dialogues “Ezio Bosso, a man of music and words – how music is told” with the participation of Giuseppina Manin, journalist of the Corriere della Sera and writer – Stefano Jacini, writer and music critic – Luca Ciammarughi, pianist, music critic and writer – Alberto Mattioli, journalist of La Stampa and writer.
