Everything’s ready for Trofeo Bernetti – Sisitana’s sailing regatta since 1972 – in its 52 edition, which will be taking over the gulf on Sunday, 1 October.

As per tradition, a week before the grand Barcelona regatta, Trofeo Bernetti sailing race, organized by Società Nautica Pieta Julia, will take over Trieste’s coast with 200 boats competing for the historic trophy.

With the start in Marina St Giusto and the finish line in Sisitiana, this will be a regatta to follow.

The weather forecast for the race naturally still remains to be seen. As one of the organizers put it, “only teams with grand passion and dedication can compete in any weather conditions.”

The winners of the Trofeo Bernetti will be announced during the pasta & fagioli party in the evening of the regatta in Sistiana.
