Trieste will turn into an open-air museum dedicated to classic cars on Saturday and Sunday for the 16th edition of the National Classic Vehicle Historic Day.
For two days, dozens of vintage cars will be displayed in the city center’s most historically and artistically exciting places, such as Piazza Unità, Piazza della Borsa, Piazza Goldoni, and Piazzale Valmaura.

The initiative was presented on Wednesday by the City Council and the promoters, the “Amici della Topolino” club. It is estimated – it was explained – the arrival of about 160 vehicles and the involvement of about 300 people between car owners and accompanying guests.
The event aims to gather fans of historic vehicles from not only the Triveneto and other Italian regions but also from neighboring Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia. Alongside the vintage automobiles, modern cars provided by car dealers in the area will be displayed
The event is part of the European Sustainable Mobility Week, which the City of Trieste is joining under the claim ‘Save Energy.’
