From Friday 29 September to Sunday 8 October Opicina becomes the place with various events on offer.
Discover this beatiful Karst’s village with historic exhibitions, vintage cars displayes, antique markets, visits to the bunker, tastings of typical dishes and book presentations.
The event is promoted by the Consorzio Centro in via “Insieme a Opicina – Skupaj na Opčinah” in co-organization with the Municipality of Trieste.
Kiosks with food and wine specialties will be set up on the pitch in front of the Obelisk and at the end of the Napoleonica by the Asd Brdina and Mladina associations.
Over the course of the three days, in the square of the Obelisk people will admire some vintage cars participating in the Trieste Opicina Historic cars.
In advance of the Trieste Opicina Historic 2023, the Club dei Venti all’Ora will exhibit some historic cars in the square of the Obelisk on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The “Taste Itineraries” will offer multiple opportunities on a daily basis to discover the typical flavors of the Karst, including wines.
Gelateria Arnoldo will offer two special flavors of ice cream for the occasion.

1st Barcolana Pickleball Tournament with “open” participation that will see athletes also arrive from other parts of Italy.
Tuesday, October 3
At 18.30 at the room of the ZKB Bank in via del Ricreatorio, 2, presentation of the book “Sem simply Lucio” by FireofVampire and VallyLaPigna (Independent publication, June 6, 2023).
Wednesday, October 4th
Open Day of the Asd Pickleball Friuli Venezia Giulia: from 17 to 19 in via Carsia, 9 for the first timers, led by Federal Technicians the Pickleball, use of fields and free equipment. No age limit.
Thursday, October 5th
At 15.30 Burraco Tournament in the room of the Association – Sklada Mitja Čuk in via di Prosecco, 131 by Volop – Volontariato Opicina – Voluntariat Opčine.
Until October 8th
In front of the Obelisk (illuminated) a kiosk with food and wine specialties be set up by the ASD SK Brdina Association:

Mercatino dell’Antico via Nazionale, historic Tram car exhibition at the station, and historic cars exhibition in the Obelisk
At 10.00, 13.00 and 16.00 guided tour of the Opicina Bunkers on free offer and by reservation.
Saturday, October 7th
At 10.00, 13.00 and 16.00 guided tours of the Opicina Bunkers + free offer, must make a reservation.
Afternoon exhibition at the Opicina Tram Station of the historic Tram car thanks to Trieste Trasporti.
A guided tour will be made at the Kleine Berlin via Fabio Severo at 6 p.m. (must RSVP).
Sunday, October 8th
At 10.30 the Barcolana is seen from Opicina.
The Club of the Winds at the Hour will exhibit some historic cars in the square of the Obelisk.
At 10.00, 13.00 and 16.00 guided tours of the Opicina Bunkers on free offer and by reservation.
