From Duino to Sistiana and Muggia, the terrible aftermath of the weekend’s storm resulted in destruction of the many establishments.
Sunday was a tough day for the coastal municipalities of Muggia and Duino Aurisina. In Sistiana the force of the waves broke the windows of the Pietas Julia headquarters, a nautical association already severely tested by the storms of the previous days.
Severe damage was sustained by Sistiana ’89, another nautical association that has piers in the bay, with the same dramatic situation in Diporto Nautico, a company based in Castelreggio.
