A.B.C. Association for Surgical Children of Burlo launches its fifth edition of the “Offer a Delicious Coffee” campaign in Trieste. Over 100 businesses have joined, accepting donations to support A.B.C.’s projects. The initiative connects Trieste’s coffee culture with solidarity, encouraging citizens to contribute the cost of a coffee at participating establishments.

The campaign aims to raise funds for A.B.C.’s accommodation project, specifically supporting the recently inaugurated sixth house. The funds will cover various needs, from utilities to rent and maintenance, providing a more functional and comfortable stay for families facing the emotional challenge of their child’s surgery.

With increasing demand and complexity, community involvement is crucial to strengthen and expand the Accommodation Project. A.B.C. offers free housing in its six well-located and comfortable houses for families with children undergoing surgery at the Burlo Garofolo Hospital in Trieste.

The funds raised will contribute to alleviating the practical and economic burdens for families, ensuring a supportive environment during the child’s treatment. The campaign has the support of local businesses, Confcommercio, Fipe Trieste, and media partners Radio Punto Zero and Radio Attività.

Serena Tonel emphasizes the symbolic and commendable value of the initiative, noting the historical importance of coffee in Trieste’s economy and society. Public support and the commitment of businesses are crucial for the success of A.B.C.’s projects.

Partners, including Confcommercio and Fipe Trieste, express gratitude for the generosity and active participation of businesses in supporting the cause. The constant support enables A.B.C. to respond more effectively to the growing needs of families each year.

The initiative receives praise from various stakeholders, acknowledging the community’s sensitivity to the struggles of children and families facing extended hospital stays. A.B.C.’s Accommodation Project ensures that every donation translates into tangible and impactful projects for the well-being of children undergoing surgery at the Burlo Garofolo Hospital.
