In a morning meeting held at the Town Hall, Riccardo Riccardi, the regional official in charge of Civil Protection in Friuli Venezia Giulia, revealed to Mayor Roberto Dipiazza a financial injection of €6 million for the restoration of the Barcola promenade, severely damaged by the early November storm surge.
The gathering included Alessandra Savino, the official overseeing General Affairs, Technological Innovation, and Digital Transition, Michele Babuder, the official responsible for Territorial Policies, and Alberto Polacco, the Forza Italia group leader.
Mayor Roberto Dipiazza extended gratitude to the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and Regional Official Riccardo Riccardi for their commitment and promptness in providing funding for the revitalization of the Barcola waterfront.
Michele Babuder, responsible for Territorial Policies, expressed satisfaction with the “constant attention shown immediately by the regional Civil Protection, particularly by Official Riccardo Riccardi, towards the needs of the Municipality of Trieste, in support of the substantial interventions that the Administration, with its offices, will have to face.”
In this context, Babuder emphasized the swift activation of initial restoration procedures, particularly by the offices of the Municipality of Trieste, the Stade Service, and the Public Green Service, as well as by the sub-service manager.
