Get ready for a dazzling theatrical experience as “Cabaret – The Musical” arrives at Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia from January 8th to 10th. This revamped production, led by Arturo Brachetti and Luciano Cannito, promises a gripping narrative set against the backdrop of 1930s Berlin, exploring themes of excess, freedom, and the impending Nazi era.

In this irreverent and cinematic spectacle, Brachetti and Diana Del Bufalo headline the cast, bringing to life the captivating story of an American in Berlin who falls in love with the free-spirited Sally. The Kit Kat Club, presided over by the enigmatic EMCEE (Arturo Brachetti), sets the stage for a whirlwind of music, dance, and societal commentary.

Originally a Broadway and London cult classic, “Cabaret” traces its roots to Christopher Isherwood’s “Goodbye to Berlin,” portraying the city’s vibrant cabarets, nightlife, and the looming threat of Nazism. The musical, known for iconic numbers like “Cabaret” and “Wilkommen,” seamlessly blends dazzling performances with a thought-provoking exploration of politics, love, and personal freedom.

Directed by Brachetti and Cannito, this fast-paced production features Rinaldo Rinaldi’s set design, Maria Filippi’s costumes, and Giovanni Maria Lori’s musical direction. These seasoned professionals promise to breathe new life into the timeless classic.

Tickets for this must-see show are available at the Politeama Rossetti Box Office and online through www.ilrossetti.vivaticket.it. For more information, visit www.ilrossetti.it or call 040.3593511.
