Many of Italy’s museums, galleries, libraries and archives are participating in the 2020 edition of Museum Week, that has the theme of togetherness in an era of quarantine.
Museum Week, a worldwide festival for cultural institutions on social media, runs from 11 to 17 May with a different hashtag for each day.
They include #togetherMW on May 13th, #MuseumMomentsMWon May 14th, #climateMW on May 15th, #technologyMW on May 16th and #dreamsMW on May 17th.
Trieste’s museums like Museo Miramare also take part!
Launched in 2014, Museum Week has grown to include over 60,000 participants from more than 100 countries worldwide.
