Amidst the glitz and glamour of the first night of the Sanremo Festival, a slice of Trieste emerged in a spectacular fashion. Mahmood’s much-anticipated music video, shot in the past weeks at the iconic Quadrilatero di Melara, premiered on YouTube. The backdrop? A perfect match for his competition entry, “Tuta Gold,” which secured a solid fifth place in the provisional Top 5 of the evening.

The Quadrilatero di Melara once again serves as the picturesque setting for a music video, twenty years after Tiziano Ferro’s “Sere nere” and Piero Pelù’s “Dea musica” graced its alleys. Mahmood, a multiple-time winner of the festival, having triumphed on the Riviera twice in as many appearances, brought a touch of magic to the scene. Notably, the video featured four extraordinary guests: cows, adding a surreal twist to a tribal ritual.
