A magnificent sight unfolded this morning at the Seadock industrial port in Trieste, as the inaugural launch of a series of maxi yachts, crafted by CNB, a renowned shipyard based in Ancona, for the Cantieri delle Marche, took place.
Seeking expanded production facilities, CNB has partnered with Seadock, a subsidiary of the Samer Group, to construct the raw hull of a 30.40-meter maxi yacht. After six months of meticulous craftsmanship, the vessel graced the waters, propelled by Seadock’s facilities, destined for completion in Ancona.
In a strategic move, Seadock, backed by the Samer Group, has allocated a generous space of 2,000 square meters, including 1,100 covered, to accommodate CNB’s endeavor. This collaboration signifies more than just a maritime feat; it’s a testament to the synergy between public and private sectors driving Trieste’s maritime prowess.
“This launch exemplifies our relentless commitment to fostering maritime excellence, a vital asset for Trieste, Monfalcone, and the broader national port industry,” remarked Zeno D’Agostino, President of the Eastern Adriatic Sea Port Authority.
The Trieste operation has also birthed a ripple effect, generating approximately 50 specialized jobs. Within Seadock’s confines, craftsmen meticulously crafted the raw hull, marking a milestone in Trieste’s shipbuilding legacy. The vessel now embarks on the next leg of its journey to Ancona, where it will undergo transformation into a nautical masterpiece.
Enrico Samer, speaking on behalf of the Samer Group, underscored Seadock’s pivotal role in facilitating Italy’s maritime prominence. “Seadock’s expansion mirrors our nation’s robust shipbuilding industry, a beacon of resilience in today’s economic landscape,” he remarked.
As the first of many, the unveiling of this maxi yacht heralds a new era of maritime innovation, with Seadock poised to continue its partnership with CNB in crafting yet another masterpiece in the months to come.
