The Anti-Mobbing Listening Point, established in 2005 as part of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s commitment to employee well-being, serves as a formidable force against moral and psycho-physical harassment in professional settings. Led by Regional Councilor Alessia Rosolen, this initiative, funded by the Region and managed by the National Association Beyond Borders (Anolf) in partnership with the Municipality of Trieste, offers a comprehensive support system.

Within the welcoming confines of this initiative, a dedicated team comprising a compassionate operator, a seasoned labor lawyer, a insightful psychologist psychotherapist, and a meticulous forensic doctor stands ready to assist. Since its inception in April 2023, the Point has provided aid to 32 individuals, conducting a total of 66 professional consultations over the past year alone, covering legal, psychological, and forensic domains. Data reveals a troubling trend: a disproportionate number of victims, primarily women (66%) aged 41 and above, holding permanent contracts (69%), and boasting higher education degrees (44%).

Rosolen emphasized the pivotal role of the Point, noting, “Operational Points in Friuli Venezia Giulia are dedicated to offering immediate assistance and robust legal protection to workers, shedding light on the multifaceted aspects of the labor market beyond mere employment statistics.”

Echoing Rosolen’s sentiments, Anolf President Ahmed Faghi Elmi highlighted the Listening Point’s indispensable support for those navigating workplace challenges, particularly vulnerable female workers grappling with familial responsibilities, often marginalized in professional spheres.

Conveniently situated at Via Capitelli 15, the Listening Point extends its services on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, ensuring confidential, anonymous consultations. Appointments can be arranged via phone at 351 7095391 or through email at antimobbing.trieste@gmail.com.
