The chosen date for this national observance holds profound significance, aligning with the birth anniversary of the revered Renaissance polymath, Leonardo da Vinci, born in 1452. Minister of Enterprise and champion of Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, eloquently captured the spirit of the occasion, stating, “Italy celebrates national ingenuity on the occasion of the birth of the Maestro par excellence, Leonardo da Vinci.” He portrayed the day as a symbolic bridge connecting Italy’s illustrious past with its promising future.
