It begins to look a lot like spring time in Trieste when osmize (private households in Carso, where farmers sell directly and exclusively their homemade wine and food, usually from their cellar or basement, with tables, chairs and benches, spread out in their garden, vineyard or orchard) start opening up.
Osmiza Diego and Igor has reopened their doors on May 21st, located in San Giuseppe della Chiusa 120; open from 9 am to 10 pm, as per a website dedicated entirely to these Trieste’s gems.
Osmiza Sardo David, in Samartoza 5 has reopened on Saturday, May 23d; open 10 am- 11 pm.
Osmize, as well as bars and restaurants, are to follow the safety protocols and restrictions and safety precautions are to remain in place.
