In celebration of its Centenary, the University of Trieste (UniTS) is set to host a dialogue event featuring Nobel Prize laureate in Physics, Giorgio Parisi, and UniTS Rector, Roberto di Lenarda. The event, titled “Realizing the Future of Knowledge: The Contribution of the University, Between Students and Teachers,” promises to delve into the profound relationship between mentorship and learning, moderated by esteemed journalist Eva Ciuk.
Giorgio Parisi, born in 1948 and a protégé of Nicola Cabibbo, boasts an illustrious career as a theoretical physicist. Currently serving as a Professor Emeritus at the University of Rome, Parisi’s contributions to the field have earned him international acclaim, culminating in the prestigious Nobel Prize in Physics in 2021.
