Major roadwork is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, July 30, starting at 8:30 a.m. in the area around Piazza Perugino. The project, in line with permanent ordinance OP 6/2024, will implement several significant changes to traffic patterns and pedestrian infrastructure.

Under the new regulations, Via delle Settefontane will be converted to a one-way street between its intersection with Via Conti and building number 22, directing traffic towards Largo S. Sonnino. Additionally, two new pedestrian crossings will be established at the intersections of Via Petronio/Conti and Via Luciani/Settefontane. Yield signs will also be introduced at several key junctions, including Piazza Perugino/Conti, Via del Ghirlandaio/Conti, and Via delle Settefontane/Conti-Settefontane.

Local authorities have indicated that the Police will be present at the site to manage traffic and address any issues that may arise during the construction. Motorists are urged to exercise extra caution and be mindful of the changes to avoid potential disruptions.

The roadwork is expected to enhance safety and improve traffic flow in the area, aligning with broader municipal efforts to upgrade urban infrastructure.
