The Municipality of Trieste has announced that the Library and Photo Archive of the Civic Museums of History and Art will be temporarily closed for reorganization. The closure will be in effect from August 12 to August 23, 2024.
The facilities, located at Via Rossini 4, will undergo significant reorganization and reordering of their collections during this period. Patrons are advised that regular operations will be suspended to facilitate these improvements.
Upon reopening, the Library will adopt new hours of operation. The revised schedule will see the Library open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Visits will be conducted preferably by appointment.
