A significant fire has erupted in the Moschenizza area of the Carso plateau, leadinghh to the closure of the Lisert-Monfalcone road.
Firefighters are currently on the scene, working diligently to control and extinguish the blaze. The response includes a regional Civil Protection helicopter and two tankers dispatched from Gorizia and Grado.
The closure of State Road 14 is necessary to facilitate the helicopter’s operations. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
