As the countdown to the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris continues, Italy’s Friuli Venezia Giulia region is preparing to showcase its talent on the global stage. Six athletes from this northeastern Italian region have been selected to compete in various disciplines at the XVII edition of the Games, set to take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
The athletes include Katia Aere and Federico Mestroni, who will represent Italy in cycling. Both riders have shown exceptional skill and determination throughout their careers, making them strong contenders in the upcoming competition. Giada Rossi and Matteo Parenzan will compete in table tennis, bringing their years of rigorous training and competitive experience to the tables in Paris.
In addition, Davide Franceschetti will be challenging opponents in shooting, a discipline that demands precision and focus. Marco Frank will take to the water, competing in rowing, where strength and endurance are key to success.
