Trieste’s European Researchers’ Night 2024, part of the SHARPER initiative, will take place on Friday, September 27, with a special focus on engaging children. The event will feature a variety of hands-on activities designed to inspire young minds, including:

  • Oceanic Quiz (3:30 p.m., Piazza Unità) – A workshop for children 10 and up, organized by WWF Miramare, to explore the ocean’s mysteries.
  • Science and Science Fiction Objects (4:00 p.m., Palazzo Costanzi) – A drawing workshop for children aged 7 to 12, transforming scientific concepts into sci-fi art.
  • Scientific Police (3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Piazza Unità) – Demonstrations of advanced crime scene investigation technologies.
  • Immaginario Scientifico (4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Warehouse 26) – Free admission to exhibits like the Steam Tornado and Fresnel Lens.
  • Intelligences Compared (5:00 p.m., Piazza Unità) – A game exploring the intellectual abilities of animals.
