On this radiant December 15, Trieste’s sunlit streets were alive with energy. Downtown, families strolled along the waterfront, savoring gelato despite the season. The historic Piazza Unità d’Italia sparkled in the sunlight, as locals gathered for coffee at outdoor tables, exchanging cheerful holiday greetings. In the Old Town, artisan markets offered festive treats and handmade gifts.
