The Bora wind swept through Trieste overnight, bringing cold temperatures and strong gusts. Despite the challenges, many residents and visitors ventured to Audace Pier to admire the clear views of snow-capped mountains across the Gulf of Trieste.

“It’s cold, but the sight is worth it,” said Marco D’Angelo, a local who visited with his daughter. The Bora, known for its intensity, also cleared the air, offering crisp visibility and a unique atmosphere.

Families gathered in Piazza Unità d’Italia, and tourists captured photos along the waterfront, leaning into the wind or enjoying the dramatic scenery. Though disruptive at times, the Bora’s impact highlighted the city’s natural beauty and character.
