The 2025 edition of the Lotteria Italia, Italy’s annual national lottery, delivered disappointing results for the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, as no tickets sold locally won any of the major prizes.

In a lottery marked by high expectations, the region saw none of its tickets secure one of the coveted top awards, nor did any claim one of the 25 €100,000 prizes. The absence of major winners was a stark contrast to the usual hopes of a local windfall.

However, there was a glimmer of good news with a few smaller wins. The only notable prize in the region was a third-tier award: ticket S 182139, sold in the town of Monfalcone, which earned the lucky buyer €50,000.

In addition, three fourth-tier prizes of €20,000 were claimed by residents across the region. The winning tickets included O 026883, purchased at a service station in Gonars; S 293307, sold in Fagagna; and A 270577, which came from a shop in Moggio Udinese.

Despite the smaller prizes, the overall tally of ticket sales in Friuli Venezia Giulia was significant, with around 113,000 tickets sold. The region’s modest share of the lottery’s riches contrasts with the excitement that the event generates each year, leaving many hopefuls looking toward the next chance at luck.
