On Saturday, February 8, at 10:30 a.m., the Ubik bookstore in Trieste’s historic Galleria Tergesteo will host the final session of Storie in Cerchio, a reading and discussion series designed for parents and children. Led by Corinna Davanzo, a pedagogical relational consultant and preschool educator, the event aims to foster intergenerational dialogue through literature.

Each session of Storie in Cerchio centers on a carefully selected illustrated book, serving as a catalyst for conversation. The upcoming meeting will feature Le cose che passano (Things That Pass) by Beatrice Alemagna, a story that explores the transient nature of time. The event will begin with a shared reading, offering an opportunity for children and parents to engage with the book’s themes. A discussion will follow, shifting the focus to parents and encouraging reflections on the passage of time.

Held in the children’s section of the bookstore, Storie in Cerchio provides a space for meaningful exchanges between adults, facilitated by Davanzo. Participation is free, though advance registration is required.

Davanzo, who holds a degree in primary education sciences and additional certifications in special educational needs and inclusive education, specializes in working with families and educators to develop tailored educational strategies. Her work emphasizes the importance of relational learning and personal growth, aiming to equip parents with tools to navigate everyday challenges.

Ubik’s Storie in Cerchio series concludes with this third session, highlighting the role of independent bookstores as community spaces for learning and engagement.
