The MIB Trieste School of Management will hold its annual Open Day on Saturday, March 1, 2025, offering a unique opportunity for prospective students, professionals, and entrepreneurs to explore the institution’s academic offerings and engage with the international business community.

The event will run from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Palazzo Ferdinandeo, the historic headquarters of MIB Trieste in Trieste. Attendees will have the chance to learn about various programs, including postgraduate Master’s degrees, MBA courses, executive education, and short-term programs. The event will also feature individual consultations with the school’s staff and a Master Class titled “Living with A.I. – Why We Still Matter” led by Tim Baxter, a faculty member specializing in Leadership Dynamics.

According to Andrea Tracogna, Dean of MIB Trieste, the Open Day provides a platform for discovering the school’s approach to managerial education in a dynamic, international environment that fosters both academic excellence and professional development. The event aims to connect attendees with students, faculty, and alumni, offering insights into the school’s career-building opportunities.

Tim Baxter noted the relevance of artificial intelligence in the business world, explaining that the focus of his session will explore how professionals can adapt to technological changes without seeing them as direct competition. “AI creates uncertainty,” Baxter said, “but our response shouldn’t be to compete with it. Rather, we need to rethink how we work with it to leverage our vulnerabilities for success.”
