In a significant step toward fostering innovation, the University of Trieste and Assicurazioni Generali have announced a major collaboration, set to drive advancements in data science and artificial intelligence.
Andrea Sironi, President of Assicurazioni Generali, underscored the importance of this partnership during his speech at the inauguration of the university’s 101st academic year. He highlighted the historic ties between the two institutions and emphasized the critical role of knowledge-sharing in addressing global challenges. The collaboration, he noted, will also involve other international partners, further expanding its impact.
“We are strongly working with Generali because we are thinking about some very huge projects in innovation, in data science and in artificial intelligence,” said University of Trieste Rector Roberto Di Lenarda. “We hope that in a brief period, these will become concrete. This is a great day for strengthening our joint efforts and expanding our opportunities to work with Generali. We are very happy with that.”
