A new entry in the dinning scene of Trieste, restaurant UAU was opened last weeks in via Carducci 31 / A. It’s a small fast food restaurant, created by Andrea Natali, who has already successfully opened Odio il brodo in Largo Santorio, 5.
The menù is very simple: three sandwiches, ten ingredients, excellent quality meats, a veggie proposal, french fries and milk shakes.
Andrea was inspired to create UAU after a recent trip to New York City. He likes going to restaurants all over the world to bring back new ideas for Trieste, his hometown, where he moved back after working in Canada for a while.
For Andrea UAU is a sort of American fast food but with local products. The signboard says “Burger, Fried, Shake”. Only ten seats inside, UAU is open for lunch and dinner, and offers a takeaway service.
