Lufthansa is to resume direct flight from Trieste to Munich starting August 31.
Lufthansa has recently okayed the resumption of daily flight to Munich from the Trieste Airport, reports the daily newspaper Il Piccolo. The flights are to depart Monday through Friday, departing 5 pm from Trieste and 3.30 pm from Munich.
From November on, the flights will go back to the usual schedule hours: 6.15 am, 1.10 pm and 4.55 pm from Trieste to Munich.
However, Friuli Venezia Giulia remains disconnected from two major Italian cities – Rome and Milan due to a falling out with Alitalia.
