Premier Conte took part in the closing ceremony of the EuroScience Open Forum on Sunday, September 6.
The closing ceremony of ESOF on Sunday was anything but mundane. The five days of scientific fervor, which covered issues ranging from science, to industry and society ended with a bang- arrival of Italy’s prime minister Giuseppe Conte.

Dressed to the nines, Conte arrived fashionably late and addressed the public in the friendliest of manners. “It’s an honor to be here today”, he said to the awestruck audience.
In his speech at the Trieste forum, PM Conte spoke about the difficult months of lockdown behind us, the scientific excellence that characterizes the city of Trieste and the humanity of Trieste people.
“We should all learn from Trieste,” he said,” where dialog and multicultural cohabitation are the greatest of values”.
Like a rockstar, Conte exited the built for the occasion Palazzo dei Congressi to the sound of applause from the crowed.
