This Sunday April 14th, Barbacan plays host to the 41st Barbacan Produce, a market where artists, artisans, and other creatives showcase and sell their work.

Nestled under the beautiful Giardini San Michele and just above the main thoroughfare of Cavana, sit the winding pathways, Roman remains, and lively café-filled square of Barbacan.

The market will be held outdoors in Piazza Barbacan and the surrounding area between 10.30 AM and 6.30 PM. It’s always a great opportunity to see the work of skilled craftspeople living in our region, with several exhibitors traveling here from other parts of FVG.

Highlights include homemade jewelry, clothes, home wares, and art from Trieste and the rest of Fruili Venezia Giulia. This Sunday, the Trieste Film Festival will also be present at the market spreading the word about their upcoming festival.

Come on down to Barbacan this Sunday for a little taste of art!
