Trieste’s Christmas Trees To Be Lit Up Today

The festive trees in Trieste will be lit up today, 24 November, at 5 pm.

The official ceremony will take place in Piazza Unità, with the mayor of Trieste Roberto Dipiazza and councilor for culture and tourism, Giorgio Rossi, illuminating the city’s Christmas trees.

24 7-meter high fir trees will be lit in Piazza Unità, 4 in piazza della Borsa, 2 in piazza Verdi, 1 in piazza Cavana.

Christmas lights will go up in corso Italia, via Mazzini, via San Nicolò, via San Spiridione, and via Imbriani.
