The new national decree (DPCM) was signed late on 3 November 2020 which introduced a nationwide nightly curfew from 10 pm to 5 am, among other restrictions including local lockdowns.
The new decree will go into effect on Friday, 6 November 2020 and remain in effect until 3 December 2020. The DPCM puts in place rules for the whole national territory of Italy and provides stricter measures for most effected regions and provinces designated. The “red zone” Italian regions are Val d’Aosta, Calabria, Piemonte and Lombardia.
Friuli Venezia Giulia is in the yellow zone, which means our region is least affected but is still “fighting the pandemic”.
The new rules listed in the DPCM are as follows.
Freedom of movement
As of 6 November 2020, a national curfew will be in effect across Italy, which will prohibit movement between the hours of 10pm and 5 am.
