FVG’s president Massimiliano Fedriga says new decree’s goal is to avert entering the red zone while the numbers continue to rise in our region.
In a press conference on Monday, 23 November, Massimiliano Fedriga announced he will be publishing a new ordinance for the region, which he said would go into effect at midnight, Tuesday, 24 November 2020.
Friuli Venezia Giulia region remains the orange zone, but will have additional regional measures in place.
The decree contains the following rules and recommendations:
All activities in sports centers, including outdoors facilities such as the track, are suspended. However, outdoor exercise, for example around your home, is allowed to continue.
It is be forbidden to consume any kind of drink or food in public areas.
It is recommended that you do not use public transportation except in cases of true necessity (i.e., you have no other transportation options).
People are strongly recommended to avoid visiting the homes of others, except for work or necessity.
Telework work is highly recommended.
Areas that have been most impacted by the virus are to have increased screening and testing, which are Socchieve, Paularo, Castelnovo, Claut, Dolegna del Collio and Sutrio.
The current decree states that it is strongly recommended that you do not have any non-cohabitants over to your home. The longstanding rule that parties and gatherings are prohibited remains in effect.
