The new national decree, which will be signed by the Health Minster Speranza on 16 January, might move Friuli Venezia Giulia from moderate risk COVID yellow zone to high risk red zone, reports ANSA.

If the contagion in our region continues to grow and there will be more than 250 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, FVG will automatically go back to the red zone.

As of now, the regions that risk going back to the red zone are Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the province of Bolzano.
